Sixty pounds on a single structural screw
One screw per shelf may sound like we cut a corner. The mount was the first thing we designed and it is the reason the rest works: a structural screw anchors into the stud, and the bracket bears against the wall so the shelf cannot rotate or sag. It is patent pending, and it holds 60 pounds. Cats land harder than they weigh, so we recommend it for cats up to 14.
